Default Loose skin...

I am not sure if this has been discussed if it has and you have a link I would love to look at it..if not what do we do with loose skin? I know I Will have a little in my stomach..I have been lucky my arms and legs has stay sticks, it is probably the PCOS which sends everything to my stomach. But What do we do to prevent this skin to hang there? I was thinking Rollerblading? any ideas?

Pray.

Honestly. This has everything to do with the amount of elasticity in your skin - and that's genetic. If you have a good amount, you won't be dealing with too much loose skin.

Me? I was not so lucky. The only thing that's going to get rid of the excess skin on my belly is a tummy tuck. Skin brushing/tons of exercise, etc ....both of those things will help, but they will not eliminate loose skin.

To prevent it? I know this isn't what you want to hear..and it's not helpful now....but to prevent it, don't put on excess weight to begin with. It's the only sure fire way to avoid it.

I hope your genes are more elastic than mine!

i am saving for a tummy tuck as we speak.... they do say it can take up to 7 years for your skin to bounce back.. but it does depend on age, genetics and how long it was stretched out...

So let's seeeee... by the time I'm 55 (and old enough to get senior meals at Denny's) I'll look as good as I did when I was 25....

I've been hoping someone would post something **amazing** about their own bounce-back-almost-50-year-old skin. I had posted something saying such on someone's "saggy skin" thread, in the Atkins for Life section. and so far nothing new... leading me to believe that I will need to come up with a get-rich-quick scheme for that tummy tuck... and lets not forget the other items that may need help.

There's a young fellow who has pics posted, whose skin sure bounced back, and he looks terrific, but I dunno for a crone like me<smirk>

I'll pray. Can't hurt.

Well, all you folks with loose skin still look fabulous.
