Default 8.5 gone...or has it???

I'm starting my 4th week today (day 22). 4 lbs gone the first week (day , nothing the second (girl issues). On Saturday (day 20) another 4.5 was gone (8.5 total), Sunday 3 lbs gained back and this morning 1 lb lost. So net lbs lost is 6.5 lbs in 3 weeks. What gives? My carb count is right according to FitDay. I am eating about 15 gms carbs from veggies. I am drinking my water. I am getting some exercise in. The sticks are turning colour everytime. I have lost inches but not a lot. I am totally frustrated but will not give up.

Today I am going to Level 1 of OWL. But the question I have is if you are not losing on induction very well like me, how do you know what your carb limit is on OWL? Does this mean I should go backwards in my carbs? I know you are going to ask me to tell you what I eat so here is a typlcal day:

Breaky:
2 scrambled eggs
Decaf with heavy cream

Lunch
Tuna with 1 tbsp Hellmans mayo & 1 tbsp onion
About 1 cup celery to scoop it up with

or leftovers from night before

Dinner
some kind of meat
1 cup lettuce, 6 grape tomatoes, 1/4 cup red pepper
some other veggie to balance out cards

Night Snack
Decaf coffee or tea w/ heavy cream

Water - at least 80 oz a day

Supplements
Cal-Mag
Woman's Multi Vitamin
Probiotic

Weight to lose: 40 lbs

Any advice would be welcome. Thanks!!

6.5 lbs out of 40 means more than 16%. That's a really awesome percentage!

Going back to your menu... I think it looks great as long as you make sure you eat enough (not sure how many calories are in there).

Since you don't have a lot to lose, your weight loss might accelerate again when you move to OWL and introduce more veggies. And don't forget that your body needs time to adjust, so be patient. You did great until now!

Happy low carbing!

I agree with Georgiana. If you had 120 pounds to lose, 6.5 would not be much. Out of 40? it is a very good amount. You have done well!

Thank you. I guess I am just impatient. I read all the success many on here are having with big numbers lost in the same amount of time and think I should be the same.

Thanks again!
