| I have to admit that I've always wondered what the deal was with that clause as well. Of course, I have no reason on Atkins to count protein grams so I don't worry about it. I suppose if you are tracking numbers for percentage purposes, I would include the 9 grams per serving. On a side note, I find that pork rind over indulgence can stall me. I assume it is the sodium content...

| Hello and yes--I think the sodium would move me backwards...but needed a crunchy treat today! Only day two of diet and still "reading book". I guess I am counting grams of protein because NOT on the diet-I may get 20 a day if lucky ....and I mean lucky. I am a carb nut. So...I want to be sure I am eating enough protein-but guess I am now with the new "diet"...... I am still trying to figure things out with the diet since I have not finished the book! THANK YOU for your time! |
