| Probably it's true. The question is why on earth would a chicken drumstick have 2 g of carbs?! It either has sugar (although for 2 g it must have quite a lot) or some coating. OK, I just googled for it... they are coated in flour or something like that. Which means no, they are only allowed when you reach rung 9 (grains).

| Georgiana is correct: always look at the ingredients. Something can be 4 net carbs, but if it contains grains, fruit, starchy veggies, then it is not appropriate for Induction Phase. Atkins isn't only about the number of carbs, but the kind of carbs.

| I dont doubt that .. its just a small amount of breading... But regardless... im sure the ingredients aren't Atkins legal.... Have you had El Pollo Loco ? Thaey have great chicken there and its not breaded |
