| Go ahead. Do a search on the board on them and see what happens. Atkins Bars are low-carb junk food that aren't really all that low-carb and are chock full of ingredients that aren't legal until much later and/or ingredients that require a degree in chemical engineering to pronounce. As 2big4mysize says, there's no such thing as mythical, magical carbs that don't count. Yes. They stall.

| Thanks Brook..........do you have a period of ups and downs when you got close to your goal. I lost 9 in the bout two weeks, now I'm up two and continuing that work out schedule....I'm trying to track inches but struggling because I feel like I'm awful with the placement of the tape measure. It seems like it reads different every time.

| Casey- It took me a year to lose the last 15lbs. You can see my journey and weights on My Melting Page. Weight loss is not a linear process. You're going to whoosh, then settle for awhile, may gain a bit, then lose again, etc etc ad nauseum. It can be frustrating, but if you hang in there you *will* get where you want to go. Follow the plan as written and you'll cross the finish line. You'll get the hang of measuring. Give yourself a bit of time. I found doing it in a mirror helpful at first. You're still relatively new at this and you'll find your groove. Give your body and yourself a bit of credit and as much time as it takes

| Ditto to everything Brook said about the bars. Plus, do you really even like the way they taste? Sure, they're convenient but the 2 I ate loooooong ago seemed to have a funky, waxy taste to them. I find that with a little bit of preparation, I can find many, many more things to eat that are convenient and much tastiers than those Atkins Barfs, er, bars. By the way, will you be posting wedding pics??? I may have been Lil' Miss Practical with my own wedding, but there's something in me that gets all doe eyed and mushy over traditional wedding pics. Sheesh, don't tell my hubby. |

| I'm having the same problem, I think. I dropped the first eight pounds with no problem but now I'm stalling. I really do think it's because I started eating those damn Atkins bars.

| yes the bars stall me too.. it may be a combo of the ingredients and the fact that i cant stop at just one.... i end up eating the whole box within 1-2 days i have stopped getting them altogether... |
