New splenda

This might be a stupid/weird question but thought I would ask... Splenda just came out with splenda packets now each packet contains 1 gram of fiber... since Atkins always said to count splenda as one carb now that it has fiber would it be 0.... sorry I was just curious... I only use the limit which is 3 splenda packets a day if that... but maybe someone else has the same question i do... thank you!

It depends on what's in the packets. In the traditional Splenda packets, the carbs came from the bulking agent used. And it clocked in at 0.9 carbs.

I looked it up on the Splenda site- the ingredients list shows it has 2 grams of carb per packet, 1 of which is fiber.

LOL..I saw the commercial last night on TV and I was thinking the same thing. WHat would we do without this board?!!! It never occured to me that we would have to add in the carb of fiber and then reduce it.
