| On Atkins you should avoid any form of sugar, and this includes brown sugar. So nope, it's not 'allowed'. I'm sure there is sugar-free bacon out there, but I live in Germany so can't really help you with names. I'm sure someone in the US will reply a bit later. In Germany, I can find sugar-free bacon if I buy it directly from the butcher.

| On Atkins, added sugar is not allowed. If you want the bacon to be 'legal', it should be sugar free... so no sugar should appear among the listed ingredients.

| I would try to avoid the sugar-cured bacons too. I picked up some by mistake on my last shopping trip. I shop at Bi-Lo and they have a store brand that has no sugar. |
