| You can check up on the nutrition info for most fast food outlets online. I know Macdonalds have a 'bag a meal' site where you can select only the bits of their menu items that you intend to eat so you can find out just what is in just the meat without the ketchup, fries, garnishes etc. McDonald's USA - Bag A McMeal and I am sure others companies have similar websites.

| I do this in a pinch from time to time (e.g., at airports, on road trips), & though it's always so salty, I am fine afterward. Your mileage may vary, of course, but it is worth trying out.

| Wendy's lets you customize a meal on their website, and they've always been happy to take the bun off my burgers.

| Yup, I did my research because sometimes I want my quick fast food sometimes. So I go to popeyes. http://www.popeyes.com/nutrition.pdf (Check the skin/breading off) As you can see, if you take all the skin off, and only eat the meat, there's no carbs in that. Just my suggestion.

| The only two fast-food places I go to are In-N-Out (do they have those in Vegas?) and El Pollo Loco. In-N-Out is my FAVORITE... I get a double-double protein style (wrapped in a lettuce leaf instead of a bun) with grilled onions. And at El Pollo Loco I get a chicken breast with a cesar salad. Always satisfies me. I've read of plenty of people on the go and ordering salads and bunless burgers If I know I'm going to be going somewhere new, I always just google "(enter fast food joint here) nurtition facts" and find the menu item with the least amount of carbs and that is what I order. |

| Be still my heart! Kim! In and out burger rocks! That is the highlight of my traveling to California to visit our relatives. yes, get the Double Double animal style and that thing is amazing! We have nothing to compare here in the midwest. |

I was born & raised in NYC until a year ago. The Empire State Building is quite amazing even if you've been 30x. It never gets old. Lyssie-Thanks for that info. 900 calories is a lot for a meal. I'll make sure to watch... Bringy-Thanks for that info. That might be something I'll check out when I pass one. Congratulations on your weight lose. The weight is flying off you! Kimbat06-Yes they do have In-N-Out by me. I have never been in though. But that lettuce wrap sounds good. I might have to check that out. But, what about the Ceasar Salad?
