| Saute it in butter and add cinnamon & AS for an imitation apple pie filling. Depending on what step you're on, add a flax or nut topping as in apple betty. |

| It is a good addition to soup. I made 'no tortilla' soup with the squash, diced tomatoes, chicken, onions, garlic and canned chilies.

| Prounouced 'Chay-oh-tee' I love it raw, sliced (peeled and rinsed), with lemon juice and splenda and cinnamon on it.
