| Wow! 50 pounds lost and 10 inches off your waist! Please don't lose sight of what you have achieved and how far you have come. I know it may sound like a silly question but are you sure you need to lose more? It could be that you are very close to where you should be weight wise now that you are exercising so much? |

| LOL!! Thank you I am not "Down" Or "upset" Yes I have lost in my legs and arms (The Tape is my best friend!) to the point where there is no more to burn or pinch--just building strong muscle at this point. I still have a ponch and I am going by my doctor's goal of 200.( which he supplied no clue how to get there!) For my age and hieght, I could go as much as 185, but he wants to do another complete physical first. The excess weight is in my upper body for sure Maybe I need to focus more of my workouts to this general area? Jogging and Biking are my prime choice for working out. But again I am back at working out to achive the goal.... You are all Awesome!!!

| I have found that if I am not eating enough - I stall out. When i get stressed i am very all or nothing. You listed fat intake...may it's too low? How are your ratio's? Are you at the 65/30/5 fat/protien/carbs??? Too much protien can convert to excess sugar....maybe your balance is off a bit. You've done an awesome job! like the others said don't loose sight. I focus on my nutrition, try some new recipes and postpone a weigh in for two weeks to get me out of a rut. (mental or physical)

| Thanks for the kind words! I'm doing great? Look at you! Awesome! Your success is providing inspiration and motivation to all of us! and: I think your right...Need to add fat back into the diet more, I will stay with boneless skinless, Trimmed Red meats, and other lean cuts of meats as well as my portion control----- BUT This time I will make Carb friendly sauces and sides with butter/cream/oil type sauces to make up the missing fat. I will double my efforts to keep at 65/30/5 I won't lose sight! This WOE and WOL is to outstanding a lifestyle.

| Good for you! (and thank you for the kudos my way). I almost threw the towel in when i was about 30lbs down. Success is sweet, don't get bogged down day to day. Life isn't just about the race -it's about the journey. I am always thinking ahead and I have to remind myself to live in the moment. Looking forward to seeing your next success post! you WILL get there!!

| Maybe you need to get your bodyfat measured, Bill? Many people post that they are slimmer at a higher weight than previously and wearing smaller sized clothes, as Atkins seems to help us lose fat and add muscle which takes up less room although it weighs the same. One of our members (can't remember who) found when she had her body fat measured professionally that she had already met her goal body fat percentage and if she lost any more weight would be straying into the underweight category. So you might need to adjust your goal weight upwards.
