Default Liquidy meals? staying on atkins with no appetite

Hey guys

Okay so I have been trying to stick to this, keep eating etc but am starting to struggle

am on Fluoxetine 60mg raising to a goal of 100mg currently, this as a result has killed my appetite. The last couple days I dont have any hunger signal at all.. only time I know maybe I need to eat something is when I am shakey/already have low blood sugar

I have never experienced before no hunger signal. I dont know if I am full, empty or hungry.. I just feel nada

Is it best to have some protein shakes?egg creams? or just eat when I can and am able.

Have been back to the doctor repeatidly, he wants me to return after another 90 tablets. Before thinking about changing medication. He wasnt concearned about me eating nothing or forcing down 600-900cal. He weighed me and said would check again in 1 month.

I want to eat, but I am having real trouble. Any ideas to get me through the next 3-4 weeks would be very good

Thanks in advance

I"m not an expert... but it seems to me that you need to set a time... and eat... something you've pre-planned.... that you like... that's still in the limits of the eating plan....

I mean... I understand you're not in the mood for a huge meal of a big greasy steak or anything... but there has to be something.. for whatever level you're on... that you enjoy.. that you could eat at a pre-set time... to keep your blood sugar levels from dropping....

and while many many many here will say that the 'convenience foods'.. like the atkins bars or shakes are not the way to go... it might be a better option for you at some of the 'meal times' than eating nothing at all...

good luck!

I have had this problem in the past. If I don't feel hungry but have not eaten for hours, I prepare myself a really tasty snack and that is my meal. Think of something you really like and eat that. X
