| There are so many other reasons to exercise other than losing weight. The energy it will give you is amazing. The heart benefits and the lowering of blood pressure and cholesterol. Just three times a week of 30 minutes is so good for you. There are several shows on early in the morning on fit tv that you could do. Or walking with the kids or dogs. No need to join a gym or buy equipment. Also, if you want equipment you could try craigs list for free stuff listed. Good luck! Donna |

| Thanks TWS, that primal blueprint link was really interesting. Makes a lot of sense. So many things seem more logical when looked at through evolution. |

My nutrition-search reading has taken me through all the different popular diet plans (leading to a low-carb life) to the problems of modern food production (vanishing omega-3s) to an interest in Paleolithic humans. I've read 7-8 books on the subject, including these: (links to Amazon.com) Amazon.com: Dark Caves, Bright Visions: Life in Ice Age Europe: Randall White: Books and: Amazon.com: The Nature of Paleolithic Art: R. Dale Guthrie: Books My plan next is to turn my small reading room into a 'man-cave' complete with wall paintings. Might be an interesting project for the winter months. Then again, it may turn into a 'head-shaker' and a quick re-coat of paint. TWS |
