| Where are your veggies? This is not a high protien diet. It might be a good idea for you to read DR. ATKINS NEW DIET REVOLUTION (2002). This way you can truly understand this way of eating.

| I agree, you should definitely read the book and definitely not just eat meat. There are lots of yummy veggies that you need in your diet. It sounds an awful lot like you are trying to go no carb, whereas you should be going low carb. You should still be having some carbs in your diet through vegetables right now. Good luck to you and please give the book a read to make sure you are doing this the Atkins way. |

| Please do eat your veggies! You need those wonderful nutrients! You should be getting most of your induction carbs (20 g/day) from vegetables. Also, if you eat too much protein, you run the risk of it converting to glucose, which you really don't want! I'll echo the advice to read the book. You'll find things work so much better if you follow the plan to the letter.
