Default peanut butter cookies? can i try them now?

Hello i have been on atkins for 5 weeks now and went from 327.8lb i am now 315.2. What i was wondering i want to try different recipes for future. and ive been on extended induction for 5 weeks. Would it do me harm if i bakes some of the peanut butter cookies without flour just the ones with peanut butter splenda egg and vanilla extract.? would it harm me to try one? if i stay within my 20g of carbs per day? i think it worked out 3.2g carb per cookie.

Peanut butter is not allowed until OWL, so it's a no for induction legal. Will it physically harm you? Not unless you're allergic to peanuts, but it may stall your weight loss and peanuts cause cravings for a lot of people. If you're getting bored with induction foods, why not move on to OWL?

How much weight do you have to lose and how much of that has gone already?

Are you finding the induction-allowed foods list restrictive?

According to the BMI Chart in DANDR 2002 (p 157) someone who is 6'3" (75 inches) tall should be 192 (BMI of 24). He says the chart is helpful as a guideline, but stresses "The best weight for you is the one at which you feel comfortable and attractive and can enjoy life. It also needs to be a weight you can maintain."

Based on this information what do you think is your personal ideal weight is?

By the way, great job on your success so far...

This is my first time on atkins as well. I stayed on induction too long 1 1/2 months thinking that it was what I should do since I have almost 100 pounds to lose. I was getting bored with induction foods and was starting to add in no-no foods. with encouragment from others on this board I moved to owl. I am no longer bored with foods as owl allows you certain foods that aren't allowed on induction. now I am no longer tempted to eat things that aren't allowed. hope this helps.

Do you have the book? For short, it's DANDR 2002 - Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution.

It is invaluable to have. If you don't have one you should order one. In the meantime go here for information on OWL.
