Default New Year's Atkins Resolutions - list them here

So looking at the new threads and looking at my own experience over the holidays I think it is time for us to look forward and plan for a nice clean New Year. So what kind of plans are you guys making to insure 2009 becomes the perfect Atkins Year?

I plan to incorporate more vegetables in my diet, as well as to better prepare myself by baking things ahead and freezing them to ward off cravings. I also plan to become more acquainted with my eliptical!

I plan to treat myself right. That is eating healthy and getting more exercise next year and tons of positive self talk!

To be a more positive person...that way everything else will just fall into place (meeting my first goal of 165 then be in the 150s by the end of the year, get a real job, buy a house, buy myself a car, go on vacation to Jamaica...okay a few of those are dreams more than goals).

I believe that all components of a person have to be in line to get success - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. So here is my list -
Physical- get down 20 pounds and find a new way to fall in love with eggs again. Eat gluten and sugar free for 30 days.
Mental- read a book a week. I love to read - and usually consume 5 books a month. Also want to take an online course on Non-Profit Organizational Management.
Emotional- to start each day with gratitude. Resetting of my emotions to be less reactive. Appreciating those I love daily.
Spiritual - find a good church home. Spending time daily in reflection and meditation.

I also spent an evening last week reflecting on 2008. I wrote down each month and then went back and tried to remember what occured during each month. I know that I was too busy with work but it really helped me to bring some closure to a crazy 08. Give it a try!

Great idea My Atkins resolutions:
- run twice a week
- exercise normally 5x per week, mostly in prep for kickboxing grades
- don't cheat until May (lame I know but I'm a realist at this point)

Not only to eat more veggies, but to also try different kinds and keep open-minded about it. To get through all the birthday parties (I have seven nieces whose birthdays all range from Feb through July) and be at goal by my birthday.

Get on the exercise bike at least three to four times a week, for at least 20 minutes each... gradually working up.

I also really, REALLY need to work on my self esteem issues. I was unhappy with the way I looked before, and even after losing almost half the weight, I am still unhappy. Which means I have some work to do on this INSIDE...

My goal is to be under 200 pounds for my son's high school graduation in June. Only 40 pounds to go so it is realistic to acheive. To help acheive that milestone, it is my goal to exercise 4 plus times a week while staying on a strict Atkins plan. I know what works for me and when I follow my plan - I am successful.

to be 2/3 of the way to my goal of 100 pounds lost. I am currently 1/3 of the way there. I would like to be at this goal by christmas next year. I know i could take it off faster but I want to do it more slowly so I can use atkins as a way of life, not as a diet.

Well this is my first day on the way to a new and improved me. I guess my resolution this yeat would have to be 1. To become a better thinner me. 2. To be happy in my own skin 3. When I walk past a mirror, I want to stop and actually take a look!!!LOL. My older sister has lost over 30 lbs on this diet and she has become my inspiration!!!
