any suprising good side affects whilst starting atkins?

hi all!! just wanted to ask. has anyone had any suprising good side affects to starting atkins other than weight loss?
i hear a lot of folk say about tiredness, bad breath etc....
i know when i did atkins the first time a few years ago my skin looked really clear and glowing (hope this happens again!).
anyone experiance elevated energy levels?

More energetic

Lower blood pressure and blood sugar (YAY, no meds in about 6 months)

Sleep better and sleep less

Motivates me to want and need exercise

Yeah, I forgot about that!! DH will love it when the true benefits kick in because my bi-polar symptoms will fade away.

skin looks great, and nails get very strong. My head also clears and I don't feel foggyheaded!

I feel so much more energetic and less tired/slug-like! I feel so happy not only because of the increased energy but also because I feel in control of my life!

I have more energy, less joint pain, am more clear headed, skin is better, and the best one for me: my allergies improve! I usually cannot breath through my nose all through the winter heating season and talk like I have a clothespin on my nose, but now it's all clear!!! I can breathe, which is a very nice side effect.

My rosecea ( skin condition) completely clears up, rarely get any acne which i used to get occaisionally. I no longer get heartburn or any idigestion. less cravings, more energy. i rarely get any bloating. hair and nails much healthier.

I can't say for a fact, and it has only been 4 days, but it SEEMS like the water retention I get in my right leg is going away. Then again, I may just be imagining it.
