| Hi Nina and welcome! I don't think it is impossible to lose that amount in two months but personally I wouldn't expect it! I don't want to dash your hopes and you can certainly try to make that goal but often losing the last bit is the hardest. It looks like we are roughly the same weight with the same amount left to lose. I'm not expecting to lose the rest in two months- I want to give my body room to do what it needs to do while I'm getting healthy and I'll get to goal eventually. But that doesn't mean it is impossible! Everyone is different with regard to how much they lose during induction. Also, take measurements of yourself- you might be losing more inches than pounds! I would also REALLY recommend reading the book, Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution (2002) to find out everything you need to know about this way of eating. Often when someone tells us about the plan without learning about it for ourselves we miss the finer points. I did "atkins" on and off for years just relying on what my mom had told me about when she did it! It worked pretty well but not like it started working once I read the book and learned how to do it for real! Good luck!! |
