| Lots of tooth brushing is what i do and carry mouthwash which i rinse out with water after. Love to hear what others have to say |

| SF breath mint... zero calorie kind. BTW, my daughter told me I had bad breath tonight, and I had brushed only an hour prior.

| I use my Listerine morning and night and always have my sugar-free gum on hand just in case! |

| Drinking lots of water helps! Sugar-free gum and sugar-free breath mints are allowed on Induction, HOWEVER, you need to count EACH ONE as a sweetener and only three sweeteners are allowed per day on Induction. If you are having sweeteners in other places (splenda packets, diet soda, etc) keep that in mind. Sometimes chewing 1/2 piece of gum will do the trick and then that's just a 1/2 serving of sweetener. | I wondered about that too - have to sit at alot of basketball games which is pretty close quarters! I did bring my water bottle in with me yesterday and didn't have anything but a diet pop. Was there for 6 hours so I thought that was good! I got away with that yesterday because I had to get a stick of gum from a friend - my 8 year old made me try a starburst jelly bean (I know I know, but he is 8 and I just had one. It made him very happy)...but the **&^^ broke my tooth! So this piece of gum is being tooth putty for my cheek until I get to the dentist! I will get some of those lifesavers as well, and some gum. And keep the water with me.....thanks for all the advice!

| In the times i have done Atkins, i have taken an altoid any flavor and added it to my 50 oz water bottle. Also you can add mint leaves to your water also. Someone offered apple cider vinegar as a mouth wash or to add it to your water. Also instead of actual mints -- get some of the exstracts -- i.e. peppermint, cinnamon, etc and add some to your water. These should not then have to be counted as sweetners. I am not positive but perhaps someone better clarified about extracts can confirm they don't need to be counted as a sweetner. cani

| I know what you mean about the bad breath...my daughter picked me up on it a few days backs ....your breath stinks is what she shouted really loud...nice one
