| 1) How many daily calories do you have on average? I don't count calories as DANDR2002 says. I probably consume around 2lbs of meat products a day in addition to anything else (eggs, veggies, etc.) 2) How many net carbs do you have on average daily? (Include your ratio if you have it) 30, but probably 40 due to tons of hidden carbs and lack of nutritional info on food packaging here in the Philippines. 3) What level of Atkins are you on? OWL - Dairy rung 4) Do you exercise? If so, how often? Kinda erratic - around 2 hours a week. 5) What's your average loss (either weekly or monthly)? Started at 5 per month, now close to dead crawl but picking up again at 2 per month.

| 1) How many daily calories do you have on average? **********2400 2) How many net carbs do you have on average daily? (Include your ratio if you have it) **** About 25 net carbs (Fat 65% Carbs 5% Protein 25%) 3) What level of Atkins are you on? ****** OWL Rung 2 4) Do you exercise? If so, how often? *****6 Days a week 30 min weights 60 min cardio 5) What's your average loss (either weekly or monthly)? *****3.7 per week for 4 months Not to be contrary but, I think calorie counting IS important. It is the only way to stay true to the ratio, and to make sure that we are EATING ENOUGH. You have to feed the metabolism.

| Thanks for sharing! I know Atkins said something like I didn't say calories don't count, I said don't count calories. I have to enter everything in FitDay so I'm aware of all of the stats. |

| Over the course of 5 days these are my averages: Calories 1933 and Ratios Fat 63/Protein 33/Carbs 4. I'm still on induction (2nd week) and it appears i'm losing about 3 lbs a week. I'm 5'2 SW/168 CW/164 GW/115. I'm adding in exercise slowly, so 20 min of brisk walking a day. Hope this helps, probably not very much since you've been doing this for a year and are already on Rung 3. I too keep an eye on my calories, more out of curiosity than anything. I'm trying really hard to listen to my body. If I think I'm hungry I question if it is because I'm bored, tired, stressed, etc or am I really hungry. But at the end of the day I am amazed that I am actually eating fewer calories and still feel very satisfied and not really hungry all that often. I can't believe how eating so many carbs during the day led to eating more carbs and those carbs led to the craving for more carbs, and it was an endless cycle which led to untold amounts of bad, empty calories. |

| Brilliant post! I have found that for me, calories definitely matter. If I eat 2000 cals, I won't gain but I don't lose. If I eat 1600 or less I tend to lose. I am on rung 5 (plus low carb bread) which is where I will stay until pre-maintenance as I am happy with the foods. I eat an average of 30g net carbs per day. My percentages are 58%F, 26%P, 6%C I used to really worry about the protein % but I now realise that as long as I am having good protein each day, it doesn't matter too much about this figure. I aim to exercise at the gym three times a week (and usually achieve this) and walk my kids to school too. I had a chest infection so couldn't exercise for six weeks and really noticed a difference in my weight loss. Weight loss in my sig. I had a blip when I stepped off at Christmas but am now back in my groove so would like to average 2 pounds a week again if possible!

| I'm in maintenance, and inducting for a couple/few weeks to detox from the Christmas crap..but here's my usual numbers for maintenance: 1) How many daily calories do you have on average? about 1800-2000 2) How many net carbs do you have on average daily? (Include your ratio if you have it) around 100 3) What level of Atkins are you on? Maintenance 4) Do you exercise? If so, how often? run 3x week/yoga or pilates 2 or 3x a week as well 5) What's your average loss (either weekly or monthly) no longer losing
