Default I Can't Sleep....

I've been in ketosis for 2 weeks now and while it's weight loss effects are lovely...I cannot sleep for more than a few hours at a time. My schedule is off track and I have to get it back. This past week has been tough because I keep waking up around 2 a.m. every morning. The dogs like it...another trip outside to go potty. My 13 year old son loves it because he got an XBox 360 for Christmas. I've already fallen asleep and Heaven knows what time he's climbing into bed. After working hard all day and coming home and working out, I'm beat shortly after dark. I wonder if this can be reversed or if I should find a way to love doing housework from 2 a.m. until 5 a.m. every morning!!

I was doing that also , but I found that if I quit drinking my water around 6 or so I do not wake up as much , I am slowly getting back on my track of sleeping . Keep up the good work and I think your sleep pattern will come back.

I have always had trouble sleeping but for the past few years I've been taking 3 mg of melatonin right before I go to bed and it really helps me fall asleep. It's an over the counter medication that you can get at any drugstore and Walmart. You might want to take it at 2am instead of bedtime if you are falling asleep without help when you first go to bed. Good luck with the sleep problem.

i cant sleep tooo... i sleep at 12 am and wake up at 6 am .. other then that i am sleepless for about one week?
what does that mean?
Can walking daily contribute to sleeping less?

I have a huge bottle of Melatonin in my dresser. My problem is I can't stay awake late enough to take it. I'm hoping this week will be better. I have so much to do and working full-time, being a single mom, running my son to practices and games...I really need to be amped up until at least 9 p.m.
