| A whooshie is when the scale goes down several pounds overnight. Basically, the weight whooshes off/out of you. You'll see people wanting a visit from the whooshie fairy which means they want that scale to MOVE, not a little, but 2 or 3 or more pounds. I hope that makes sense. |

| Sudden overnight weight loss of a significan amount. It falls off with a whoosh I suppose. I have heard that you need a fairy to make this happen

| BTW, I'm hoping for a visit from the whooshie fairy! I haven't lost anything in the last week despite eating well, drinking lots of water, and exercising almost every day! |

| Well it sounds like you've been a good girl Clogger. I think that fairy will come! (Are you measuring - you've stepped up exercise so there may be some muscle coming and also a bit of water retention in the beginning - once the body is used to the fact that you ARE going to lift those weights everyday it will say - "this is normal no reason to hold on to water for panic" and you will whoosh. I think so.)

| I started originally on the 1st dieting just not atkins until 8th... so yeah I am doing ok..

| I don't know how often you change your exercise routine, but this helps me a lot. I had not lost in about 10 days, then I started doing free weight squats and the weight started melting off. I also changed my cardio as well. Coincidence?
