Day 4.. Nausea?

Hey guys..
this is my 4th day of atkins. this morning i woke up feeling like i could faint and felt really nauseous.... yesterday was the first day i worked out but i was fine the whole day yesterday. i was wondering if anyone has experienced nausea and any advice to help fight it.

guess what?...we both started on exactly the same day!!...i felt a little bit nauseous too but i'm pretty sure its just our bodies getting used to the change....keep it up

Hi Slowjam,
Looks as though you have a case of Induction flu. You're detoxing from sugar and simple carbs. Just make sure to drink lots of water to flush the system. It should be gone withing 24 hrs.
People experience detox with headache, nausea, light headedness.
Though if it persist longer than 48 hrs. I'd go get checked out in case you actually have the flu.

i'm finding it hard but then i should have expected it really as i lost 35 lbs on the diet a few years ago but i put it all back on, but i KNOW i can do it again!!!...i wish i knew about this site back then as they really encourage you to do better !!

Oh, one more thing for your nausea.
Do you have some fresh ginger? Make some ginger tea by steeping some in hot water. Ginger is excellent for nausea.
