| That's ingenious! How did it taste and did the texture bother you? It seems to me that it would be a bit slimy. Or am I wrong? Soup and cereal are the things I miss most so I know how you feel about having something like that, especially when it's cold out. Beef and chicken broths are good, although not very filling but I drink a cup of them occasionally. When you get to rung 3, you'll be able to have a muffin-in-minute, which are really good and filling to boot. I love them! Good luck with getting back on track. |

| I'm curious too about how this tasted. I've always used flaxseed rather than psyllium. Flax is a bit slimy... is psyllium too? Kudos to you for your ingenuity! Hang in there... it gets much easier once you hit OWL and have more food choices and things to combine!

| It was so delicious and so filling and I got my dose of husk in for the day. I cant even condisr OWL until I have lostthe weight that I want to, Ihave to loose 10 kilos and it must be gone by March of this year, so it`s gonna be induction all the way for me, I had a really good day 1, into day 2 and going strong, problem is that I am currently an emotional mess it makes it more difficult - I am hopeing that as soon as my body comes right my mind will follow........ |

| Lots of members have found that they lose more weight on OWL than they did on induction, so do consider moving on if your current losses slow down. Another good reason for moving to OWL is that adding more choices makes life easier, as you are not so limited when planning or ordering meals. And of course the main reason for not hanging around on induction till you are close to your goal weight is that by doing that you are not learning how to eat once you get to goal, and like all 'diets' if you stop them and return to your previous way of eating you will put the weight on again for sure

| Ditto what Elizellen said! Don't dismiss OWL out of hand. Many of us (me included) with hindsight have regretted staying too long in induction. I am sure your mind, which you say is a mess, will follow your body as you lose weight. Feeling good about oneself following weight loss, is one powerful trip!

| It`s weird but I need to do induction again for at least three weeks, it keeps me on the straight and narrow, all or nothing for me, I am too weak for the middle road, and the feeling on ketosis is almost addictive, when I settle down again, mentally then I will consider OWL, anyway i ruined my day 2, I had a ciabatta for lunch, it`s like somebody takes control of me, but it`s fine, just a bowl of chicken soup tonight and then back on track tomorrow..... |
