Default Blue cheese dressing and other things

hi... just a question about dressings from bottles.. the kraft blue cheese has less than 1 carb per 2 tblsp and less than a gram of sugar. Is this acceptable? I have been eating bacon.. it says no carbs or sugars. Also, cheeses.. sliced... I got the idea you can eat generously on the cheeses like cheddar and mozzerella(it has no carbs) but I read only 4 oz a day? I did try heavy cream with splenda(1 carb per pack) and that heavy cream is nasty. I love non fat milk and I put a splash(literally) in instead. I love eggs and meats and seafoods. I have also ate Bob Evans link sausage.. at no carbs and no sugars. I have done cardio for an hour several times a week followed with the beginning of weight training. I used to run 35 miles a week(for 2 years) about 1.5 years ago and then my dad got very sick and I was facing a second divorce, (my decision, thank GOD)and I gave up the running. Then, I moved and did not have the room for my treadmill. So , I joined a gym an loving it. anyway.. any help would be appreciated.. Lia

All cheese have at least 1 carb per ounce. Sliced cheeses like American are processed cheese. You are allowed to have hard cheeses on induction. That is why you are only allowed 3 to 4 ounces per day. Any cheese that says zero carbs are using a tiny serving to get around the carb count. In the US, if it has less than a full carb per serving, they can say it has zero. So, they reduced the serving size to hide the carbs.

I have never found any store bought saugage that doesn't have sugar. Did you read the ingredients list? Bob Evans has, at the very least, dextrose.

Skim milk is the worst. The more fat, the less milk sugars and carbs. Skim milk has the most milk sugars and carbs of all. A splash could end up as a lot.

The blue cheese dressing is okay as long as it's not low fat.

hi.. the non fat milk is 11 g of carbs per cup..when I looked at 1% it was up to 18 g of carbs per cup.. I thought it would go down... I stopped looking. I saw on the bob evans.. no sugar and no carbs.. but says dextrose.. you are right? so WHY do they say no sugar??? anyway.. I still lost a 5 lbs eating the sausage. I will hold back from now on.. is there ANY sausage without dextrose for breakfast? also.. cream cheese in a tub.. compared to the box..(philly..) has 1 carb to it.. so I buy the boxed foiled one that says 0 carbs. even with the small cheats.. I still didn't hit the 20 carb limit. thanks..Lia
