| Get the pre-cooked chickens from the deli at your grocery store? They carve nicely and are really tasty. You could get a couple (BBQ, Seasoned, Plain), for those who aren't on atkins. Serve with salad and some sort of side (biscuits, potatoes)?? Or just make them spaghetti, and don't eat it, make yourself something different. Who cares if it's embarassing. |

| I was thinking about maybe making some spaghetti squash for my 'noodles'? I need to recheck if that's allowed on induction. I've never cooked on before but I think I remember a friend telling me once to just cut it in half and put on a pan in the oven til soft? |

| I nuke a half in the micro - takes 10-15 minutes depending on size. Don't make the mistake of nuking a whole one. I did that once and it exploded. And yes it is allowed on induction.

| I cook mine in the oven - and whole too as we can only buy very small spaghetti squashes over here in UK. To cook it whole just puncture the skin lots of times with a sharp knife or a fork so the steam can escape. I cooked mine well in advance of needing it and let it cool before cutting it in half crosswise then scooping out the seeds and used a fork to pull out the shreds.

| I know I'm a day to late but you are having company again and don't want to try something new on them. How about taco salad while the hamburger meat is cooking you could cut up the lettuce and tomato shred the cheese and have some picante sauce and sour cream to go on top! Super easy and fast! I've never tried making spaghetti like this but what kind of sauce do you use? is regular spaghetti sauce ok on induction? |
