We can expect to lose 5-10% of the weight we need to lose during the first 14 days. So if we have a 10 pound weight loss goal, we can expect to lose 1/2 to 1 pound. If we have a 100 pound weight loss goal, we can expect to lose 5-10 pounds. Also, don't expect to lose weight everyday. What we look for is an overall weight loss. And make friends with your measuring tape. Losing inches is losing fat too. you might want to post your menu in the Review my Menu forum to see if it needs to be tweaked here or there.

| Stay off the scale! You didn't get to 191 pounds in 10 days and you can't expect miracles in the 14 days of induction. Your body will pause to take stock of what is happening with your new eating plan. The time of day and other variables can account for a "gain" or a loss on the scale. You are not stuck until you have gone for 4 weeks with no pound loss or inches lost. If you measure, you will find that when the pounds stop coming off, the inches are just beginning to come off. You are doing great! Just settle in and enjoy your increasing health and melting body. Sunny!
