Default I ate 1/2 of avacado last night and...

it took me out of ketosis..... whats up with that???

How do you know. If your using those test strips they don't really tell you a thing so don't go by them.

I love avocados. I bought a bag of them at Cosco today and can't wait to dig into them.

I know a lot of folks swear by them, but after going through 2 bottles of the things and never seeing any change and losing 50 pounds (that was 6 years ago) I asked a wise friend about them. She said the strips measure the fat being expelled in the urine. It could be body fat and it could me yesterdays bacon.

No WAY! Avocados are not the culprit if something did in fact put you out of ketosis, as it is primarily fat and water. The only thing that ends ketosis is either your body is burning something other than fat for fuel (excess carbs) or you are dead (nothing is burning). One can burn fat and never turn those $^*#@$# strips even a teeny bit - it doesn't mean anything except that your "efficent" body is using all the ketones produced so none get "pissed away".
