| meli, at least you fessed up to it. Don't let it completely derail you. It was a mistake, you realized it, learn from it, and get right back on track. We all live and learn - even on Atkins. If things like that tempt you at work perhaps you should keep LOTS of Atkins-friendly foods on hand. Foods high in fat tend to stamp out the cravings. Good luck! |

| I know the feeling! I just finished cooking potatoes for DH and ate one to taste it. Not long after I swallowed it I realized I WAS NOT supposed to eat it. Anyways, today is/was Day 1 of induction. But I ended up eating some dried fruit my friend brought me back from Hawaii, and another goodie that had 17 carbs in it. Looks like tomorrow will now be Day 1. At least the fruit is gone so I won't feel bad. it was a really nice gift!

| Sorry about the brownie. Tempatation is all around. My 22 yr old is pregnant and eats EVERYTHING so there are lots of goodies in the house. My 5 yr old loves ice cream. My 17 yr old loves bagels.....It goes on and on... I make sure there are lots of Atkins friendly foods for me. The hard part is cooking for them though. I have to make stew tonite and it has potatoes and carrots- a no no for me--- not even a bite. So I make sure I eat before I make their food so as not to sample. You learn to avoid temptation as you go. As your cravings diminish your inner strength gets stronger. Don't give up. (((lisa)))
