Default thursday last day on mastercleanse diet

ok ok i now terrible diet. but i'm finishing day 7. i'm male 5'8 192 at start of diet, at day 7 morning 182. 3 more days to go, plus stumic must have shrunk pretty good haven't been hungry.now trying to figure out if i shoud right into induction. any idears. thanks now don't bash me to hard about mastercleanse diet.

If you plan on doing Atkins, then, yes, you need to start with Induction as written. Be prepared for fluctuations in your weight as you come off a dangerous "diet" because your electrolytes are bound to be messed up.

Atkins health and safety is backed by years of medical research, tens of thousands of case histories, and anecdotal evidence. Mastercleanse is not.

It's your body: do what ever you want with it. This is an Atkins diet website, so we are not set up to answer questions except on how to do Atkins correctly. The only way to do Atkins correctly is to start with induction.

Edited to add: After reading about master cleanse, you need to read how to come off before starting Atkins. I can only make suggestions as to how to start and do Atkins. You are on your own with master cleanse, so you need to Google it and check out how to return to eating solid food.

I'm not trying to bash, but why did you feel the need to "Mastercleanse" yourself? See, we sometimes get other folks who fast or do colonics and would like better insight on it.

Hi! I also use the MC once a year to cleanse my insides, and 2 or 3 smaller fasts through out the year. I beleive it is a GREAT gift to give yourself. And the best part is that you finally see for yourself that your mind is your greatest asset and like the saying goes " you can do anything if you put your mind to it", even go 10 days without food! I belive the MC is an important part of anyone's lifesytle regardless of their WOE the other 355 days of the year. CONGRATS for making it 7 days! I know it is no easy task! Your body will be forever grateful! The next cleanse will be that much easier!
Now, back to Atkins.....I think it is a great idea to start any diet with a cleanse, Atkins is certainly no exception. BUT, Atkins has it's own "cleanse" which is induction. However, since you have done the MC for 7 days and plan on going the full 10, I would caution you against jumping into induction, reason being is all the meat you will be consuming. You literally just cleansed yourself of what you are about to "over indulge" in. So, I would recommend spending this next week getting your tummy used to food again (trust me, it is a process). Enjoy your oj the first day, next day some vegi soup (homemade of course), then day three solid vegis and low GI fruits, day four and five, more of day three, but with some meat, but lean meat. Days six and seven, add in some more lean meat. Now, induction will want you to get your fat, so after a week of my recommendations, cut out the fruit, continue with the veggies and meat, but add back in some red meats. Be careful, go slow, keep drinking the water and you will not gain back anything you lost on the MC and should transition nicely into Atkins. Once you reach your goal weight, before moving into maintenence you may consider doing another cleanse (but maybe just a 3 or 5 day fruit/juice one). That is my plan! Best of luck to you!

Well done on your personal strength to get to day 7 of your MC. I
personally think fasting is good for the body; it gives the vital
organs a rest and is a good mental disciplinary process.

I have spent several months in India practising yoga, fasting was
a key element, very personally empowering and the health benefits
were vast. I fast 1 day per month and always will do.

If I have had a long fast I start back by gentle induction foods, a nice
organic scrambled egg, homemade chicken broth and plain chicken
pieces to start, minimal salts, spices or rich butters. My view is not
conventional, but it has never failed for me or many of colleagues
that I have made along my travels.

Good luck and please come back and advise us how you progress.

All the best twiggy, please keep us updated. Hope your doing OK, are you managing o rest during your fast or do you have to work daily? The great thing about a yoga retreat it allows you to be still with long periods of calm, other than yoga...afterwhich you sleep!
