| I'm right there with you! I haven't cheated either, but sometimes it's tempting. At work yesterday they had cookies and brownies....I said NO! And to make things worse, people tempt me in a teasing way...which makes it superhard. They love to wave that cookie in front of my face and say "don't you want one?" I will be strong!! I will be strong!! My hubby did find a recipe for lo carb baked cheesecake so that's our treat to ourselves. It's only 2 carbs. I do the jello too, which is good. If I get really desperate for sweets, I eat a dill pickle. I don't know why it takes that craving away but it does. In any case...I know you will be strong too! After all, in the end it will be more worth any cookie I could have ever eaten!

| I found something today that helped me....I've been cheat free since Jan 5 when I started. I love sweets and even though there are people eating all around me I haven't lost my willpower. What I found is a Cream Cheese "muffin" - it takes 20 minutes to bake only has 2 carbs and isn't overly sweet but tastes wonderful! My mother even ate one and said how good it was - that's shocking! I cut the recipe in half in case I didn't like it but I'll make the full recipe next time. It makes 12 muffins. They are better after they've cooled, but there were pretty darn good right out of the oven also!! I had 1/2 of one hot and 1/2 when it cooled. I put them in a baggie and into the fridge to get them out of my sight so I wouldn't be tempted!! Hope it helps!! Anyway, here it is: Cream Cheese Muffins 2 8oz. pks. philadelphia cream cheese 1/2 cup sweetener (I use splenda for baking) 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla sprinkle top with cinnamon before baking (I'm adding some to the batter next time) Soften cream cheese about 40 seconds in microwave. Add other ingredients. Beat with mixer till smooth. Pour into 12 muffin pans lined with the papers. | that sounds FABULOUS. thanks for sharing! I actually have some chocolate extract that i bought at the homeshow last week (that i want to use but am afraid of using up! lol) I'm all out of cream cheese, unfortunately.

| Thanks for that recipe, imagood1! That looks so easy. Think I'll make some tomorrow....if I can find that dang muffin pan! I need something new!!! Kerriann, You did good, girly!! I know it's hard when everyone around is consuming all that sugar and it looks delish!! One of my best friends had a total knee replacement and she came to work to visit us in the breakroom the other day. I was sure she'd come along with something low carb and something horrible for the rest of the crew to munch on. I was wrong. She brought these brownie bites with icing on top. TWO trays of them. I stared at them...hard. I didn't give in. I couldn't. She hasn't seen me in weeks and I'm 23.5 pounds down from where I was last time we saw each other. She kept on and on and on about how different I looked. How could I possibly touch that dang brownie?? I couldn't. I didn't and I'm so glad I didn't derail myself for days trying to make up for that indiscretion!! Just be proud of yourself and know you'll have to have some of that wedding cake. You practically have to go cheat free for 6 months to qualify for deserving that wedding cake, don't you??? |

| thank you all - i guess it's sorta like someone who's trying to quit smoking yet is in a bar surrounded by people blowing smoke in their face. i've always been the kind that HAS to have SOME sort of dessert at night...i used to come home from work and the VERY first thing I'd do is go into the kitchen and pop a few oreos!!! literally. no joke. i LOVE sugar.
