| The formula is 65% fat, 30 protein and 5 carbs. Yes, you can eat to much protein I guess you could eat to much of anything, but 65% is a lot of fat We are limited to 3 to 4 oz of cheese a day Eggs are unlimited I don't think it matters, fat or lean 8 8oz glasses of water a day. The way to keep this interesting is to make sure you vary your diet, plans on legal treats, find new and interesting recipes and come to the board often. |

| So, it seems like I am much better off eating a burger than a piece of chicken since we need the fat right? Otherwise as someone posted, the extra protein is turned into glucose? Thanks |

| YOu are absolutely right about too much protein. It can turn to glucose if not used. Just plug any legal food into the formula (65/30/5), and eat what works for you. I personally do not eat a lot of beef and burgers. I eat mostly chicken. I usually go for the thighs because the fat is higher than with breasts. Use FitDay to track your foods. It puts all of your calories in a pie chart and breaks it down for you. Have fun with this way of eating and figure out what works for you. Good luck!
