| There are a couple of reasons you aren't losing right now so calm down--its normal. 1) you don't have a lot to lose so your body is going to resist losing those last pounds more strenuously 2) you have adjusted to the WOE so things tend to settle/slow down after that initial big whoosh 3) many people hit a stall (sometimes lengthy) between the 3rd and 6th week and it can last a month or more but hang in there Do things right, be patient. Sometimes a change up of exercise will kick start things, sometimes only time solves the problem. Dig in and put the scale away for three or four weeks. Just focus on doing things right and your body will eventually get the message!

| hi.. I totally understand... think of it this way.. you are not gaining... you are still 10 lbs lighter and healthier... I realize that 3 lbs from my goal weight will be the 3 lbs from ****.... I am up.. today.. I think it was not drinking enough water and it is mid way to my period.. I notice I hold my water in... I now know it will go away... and it is not because of anything.. although.. I did have 2 small hamburger patties at a restaurant and forgot to tell them no american cheese.. but I ate it anyway.. no way were they 4 ozs... perhaps that is why? I tend to think it was not enoughwater... good luck.. Lia

| You have had very good success there losing almost half of what you had to lose already. It is pretty normal to see a pause. Want to share your daily menu with us? Perhaps we can see something that you may work on.

| Thanks everyone for your responses. It's appreciated. I will stay motivated and I am happy to know that it's not an uncommon occurance to be stalled. I just recently added weights to my ankles for a better workout, and once this weather lets up (we are in Ontario) I plan to get out and do some jogging. In the meantime, I won't get to worried about it, I just want to have the other 10 pounds gone by the summer. Thank you friends for your encouragement. This is the first time I have been successful at this, and I will keep going!!

| Maybe you haven't stalled at all! If you are doing all that exercise maybe you have turned that fat into muscle!! And we all know muscle weighs more than fat, so maybe you have lost inches!!! |
