Default What do you think about this?

I was wondering your thoughts on........ I found these chicken ceasar wraps they are made by the Southbeach diet, you get them around the cheese and things at the store anyhow I realize this is atkins but they are only eight net carbs and the tortillas are whole wheat! They are really good especially to have as lunch! Do you think they will make me stop losing weight or do you think I've found a healthy option?

If you want to go to 8g carb in one meal, then you should restrict your calories intake, I assuming you're in induction.?? So, if you're, no wheat of any kind should be eating.

The problem with this, is that may be a good “traditional healthy" choice…but this diet is not traditional and that tortilla could cause you some craving even if is low carb...so basically that will trigger your willpower. ..if you know what I mean.

Good luck..

They sound cool for people who are on rung 9 or in maintenance.

I always check the ingredient list, sometimes even before the carb count. I'll bet it has some kind of sugar in it, or corn starch, or both.

For Induction Phase, they aren't appropriate.

For the appropriate stage of On-Going Weight Loss Phase and Pre-Maintenance Phase, they might be appropriate---depending on how your body reacts to the ingredients.

I personally would not touch them, induction should be by the book totally, otherwise you are not on induction. Also, induction is also about your ability to disipline yourself and what you eat.

You should be able to make all kinds of yummy things on induction, you should not have to look to other diet plans/meals at all.

When you're at the appropriate rung, after reading that ingredient list, wouldn't you rather buy whole grain/lc tortillas and just make your own wrap with your own chicken veggies and caesar dressing? it' could be easily made the night before, and probably far cheaper than what you'd pay for these.

What is sugar free cherry geletin doing in there?
And it has the dreaded corn syrup. Lots of bad stuff in there.
No thank you.

Hi.. stick with the clean food.. meaning.. real chicken breasts... real ground meat and pork.. turkey and seafood... get fresh... real butter.. and olive oil... eggs... I made a mistake with hilshire farm sauage and it cost me 3 days of 1 lb weight gain... stick with clean foods... fats.. proteins.... 20 net carbs for induction... get crazy and create new recipes... don't forget 40z of cheese that are allowed..
