| I think baseline means the sort of absolute minimum you would use if you just laid in bed. But since that is not the case on fitday you select your work level too and that will add calories My baseline is 1166 (according to fitday - determined by my gender, height, weight and age) My daily consumption need accoriding to fitday (for seated work) is 1690 So it is that small daily movement that add that extra enegry fitday thinks I need.
