It could have a bearing on it, talostc. I stopped taking grape seed complex because it had rice flour in it. If it's any comfort, I have been dieting since January 2 and am hoping against hope to see a 14 pound total loss at my weigh-in tomorrow. It's excruciatingly slow, but it is coming off.

Just keep on going, it might be the normal hesitation period that comes after our first weight loss. Your probably a whoosher not a dribbler

I agree with Desert - it seems that when you drop that initial weight in the first 2-3 weeks, your body seems to want to take stock of the situation for a few weeks and you stay the same weight and then it starts moving again... it happened to me too and seems to be a pattern on the boards.

Soooooo normal for most people! I'm saying you're normal because I'm stuck in your boat too! If you're abnormal, that would make me abnormal too. I have pounded the pavement walking this week repeatedly reminding myself to stick with it. I keep telling myself to pay the price and this WOL will pay me back...with the results I want and need. Always a huge help also to increase your exercise and water while your body is fighting you.
