Is Strattera Atkins-friendly?

Hi, all. Anyone know if the ADHD med Strattera might be Atkins-friendly?

The med doesn't affect serotonin levels. But it does affectively increase levels of norepinephrine, which underlies the fight-or-flight response and releases glucose from energy stores.

The precursor to norepinephrine is the amino-acid tyrosine, which is a good system booster. In fact, Strattera is known to help a bit with weight loss, which it has with me in the past (just makes it a bit easier to maintain a good weight).

I ask about Strattera cuz I know an Atkins maxim is to stop taking any meds you can, PLUS my weight loss, five days into induction, is MUCH slower than it's been in past (barely one pound lost). I'm walking the line diet-wise, so maybe Strattera is hanging me up? FYI, my ketostix have read light to dark pink since evening of day 2.

If anyone's heard any Strattera stories, I'd love to hear them!

I would never stop a drug that has been prescribed my a doctor without discussing it with him. I would also discuss it with my pharmacist as he/she would know any contraindications.
I did once and ended up in the hospital with cardiac issues. Never again
