| Welcome, ktinas. Glad you're back on the wagon. Yes, loss of appetite is normal during induction. Just continue, making sure you eat all your veggies, and your appetite should return within a week or two. |

| I've been on extended induction for 8 weeks now. At the begining I also lost my appetite for about 2 weeks which was a bit of a novelty for me. But never fear it will come back. My appetite returned and some times I now feel hungry as I approach mealtimes but not ravenously so. Keep your cals up at least 1200 and each your minimum 3 cups of veg. You could also look at eating more nutrient/calorie dense foods such as olives so you don't have to scoff down a whole heap of food. Good luck. LadyT |
