| You are supposed to eat a maximum of 20 carbs per day on induction. That doesn't mean you have to eat that many. But don't cut out your veggies, because most of your carbohydrates are supposed to come from them. If you are not eating them, then you are not doing Atkins. |

| eat your carbs -- get them in before the other foods you eat. They are easy to get into your diet - salads, fresh, frozen or canned veggies. If you are still having trouble pick a couple higher value veggies so it's not as difficult to get the carbs in. Like Sunny said, if you aren't eating your carbs you aren't doing Atkins!

| I was looking at my old induction menus and on average I had 14 g of carbs. As long as you are eating three cups of veggies per day (see the rules of induction in the book or here (What are the Rules of Induction?)) and most of your carbs (>50%) come from veggies, you are doing it fine. However, after you finish induction, you should not jump to 25 net carbs for OWL Rung 1, but rather add 5 net carbs to the average amount of net carbs you have been eating daily during the first two weeks.
