I'm so glad to hear that you are back on track and managing things better now. The best thing that you can pull away from this is that staying on plan will help you manage stress in the future! Using this experience to motivate you next time is a very positive thing that you can take away from your setback. Congrats on getting back on track, we knew you could do it!

Isn't it amazing how everything seems out of our control, and a week after Atkins we feel WE are in control~!? I wouldn't go over 25 carbs for a while... remember you are going to hit a stall soon, I would wait until after that whole episode is over so that you know if it's the rung 3 foods or not... and... CONGRATULATIONS!

So glad you are back on track. Sometimes stress enters in and it seems like we don't have the energy or concentration (due to worry) to cope with keeping on the WOE and dealing or not dealing with our worries. That is when we need to stick to our WOE even more because it is a constant and offers the structure we need. We have all been there.

| Well - I went totally off again! I am not doing very well. I've gained a lot back, and am afraid to even weigh myself. I'm trying to get myself to start Atkins again. I'm thinking that maybe I should go back to Rung 2 and 25 net carbs which is where I was before all the problems started. I'm not sure that going up rungs was what really caused the problems - but since I was ok at RUng 2 and 25 net carbs I'm thinking that if I can get back on I should just try to stay there till I get a big chunk of weight off. But honestly, I feel like it is just so hard to start again, it feels very, very hard right now. I hope that I can restart in a few more days.

You definitely have to be in the right state of mind to start again... don't just do it on a whim... prepare yourself, weigh, get the right foods, make the commitment and then start again... Sometimes you just have to be totally fed up with yourself to get to that place where you want to start... and when you do, (because you know you will) I would start with a clean induction to get your head in the right place... You'll know when you are ready... You'll wake up and you'll know that it is THE day...
