What I have discovered is that store-bought mayo stalls me unless it's sugar-free.
Also, when you are counting your carbs, it's not the grams of sugar you should be careful about when reading the label, but the amount of net carbs -- net carbohydrate is what we are counting on Atkins. Some of the sugar listed on the label is naturally occurring in foods -- you only have to be cautious about added sugar (listed among the ingredients).
