| She should just continue with Induction. I don't know whether those extra 20 g knocked her out of ketosis or not, but even if they did, she should be back there in no time.

| Georgiana is right - she ought to just continue on her induction menu and see what results she gets after her first 14 days. She may be one of those people with a CCLL of over 40 net carbs and so would not upset her losing progress by eating that many carbs. It was a good lesson for us all to check the ingredients on all food we eat to make sure we have a good estimate of the carbs in it before eating it

| Of course she should just move forward! We all make mistakes. If you put this into perspective of 13 out of 14 days of 20 gm carbs - she's doing JUST GREAT! Sometimes we let our perfectionism 'paralyze' our efforts and this is very unfair. She sounds like she's taking this very seriously which will help her to be successful, but when we do things 100% or not at all--- well I call that self sabotage. I think many of us develop emotional strenghts (in directions that we need) when we commit to this way of eating. I totally agree with Elizellen (love your red hat) that everyone's body is different and even through the different phases our metabolism varies , not to mention the hormonal factors. THE IMPORTANT THING IS TO KEEP IT GOING!!! If she's really inconsolable about this suggest that she do an extra day or two of induction maybe this will 'speak' compensatory encouragement.
