| 2nd week almost always goes slower and the dreaded stall usually falls somewhere in the 3rd to 6th week. As fer as breaking it goes, sometimes you just have to wait it out and keep doing things right until your body says "I give up I guess I have to get with the program". The main thing is not to get frustrated enough to give in. Eventually you will win out if you stick with it. I do suggest staying away from the scale for a week or so when things really slow down. Measure inches instead. As you said your body is adjusting--sometimes you can't hurry it. There are threads on this site regarding the Post Induction stall. Check those out for more on this. In the meantime keep your fiber, veggies, exercise and water way up. It is all you can do. |

| As chinadoll says, don't give up. Remember, slow and steady wins the race! Hokey, but true. |

| In the "Most Memorable Threads" forum, there is a thread called "PISS--Post-Induction Stall Syndrome".

| Thats exactly what happened with me. I lost the first 10 lbs by day 8, and then my weight went UP 2 or 3 lbs, and it took me the rest of my 2 week induction just to get back down to where I was on day 8. And thats with no cheats and lots of water. It doesn't necessarily mean you're doing anything wrong, its just how your body gets used to the changes.
