| You're not alone!! Everyone here knows where you are. It's tough to be surrounded by temptation. Unfortunately, for most of us, it's also part of the journey. You have to decide how bad you want it and find a way to get past the craving for right now. Maybe you're looking too closely at the bigger picture. Break it down to just one day if that's easier for you. Anyone can do anything for one day. 24 hours at a time. Commit for 24 hours at a time. Are you still in induction? How long have you been on Atkins? Are you further on in your journey struggling or are you in induction and still fighting the cravings for carbs while your body is adjusting? You CAN do this. You have to establish how bad you want to succeed and commit to doing whatever it takes to get there. We're here to help you! Give us some more details about where you're at...induction, start date, things like that. |

| Well no and yes.. I go from induction and owl alot. Like, it all depends how I see myself on some days or what happening. I started atkins properly about 2 months ago. some days all I eat is 4 eggs, meat and abit of salad and ill work my *** off exercising but I see or feel no results and that gets kinda depressing too. I want to be at my weight so bad, but it feels like im not getting enough fun as a kid. I mean girls my age pig out on junk and are fine. Im like the weird diet one in my friends.. |

| Awww, I'm sorry!! There always is that one girl in the group!! Unfortunately, it seems to be us!! Everyone has their challenges. This challenge is yours and mine. I wish it wasn't but it is and we've got to take it on! Are you sure you're in ketosis? I reviewed my status the other day and got really strict. I think I was eating too many carbs in OWL. I'm going to add some back in this week but I'm keeping a closer eye on the carb counts. Sometimes we're tempted to relax a little and that's when we get tripped up. It's all about how much you want it, hun. You have to decide that for yourself. Don't you feel a million times better on this way of eating than eating all that junk?? I used to sleep all the time. My body has no idea what to do with carbs!! |

| Im not sure if Im in ketosis, its confusing =/ for me it never turned...I lost weight and stuff it just never turned. I think my sticks are to old or something..But I have a really out of wack metabolism so it takes ages for me and alot of hard work and exercise. I cut out salt, butter and im only having about a cup of salad. I don't normally eat dairy products unless im on one of those days I had before. whenever I start eating them I can't stop. Honestly I don't feel much of a difference, I get headaches from lack of coffee, I get exhausted from the exercise and my cat was the main reason why I couldn't sleep when I ate carbs XD so im pretty much ripped off. Plus the weight is coming off so slowly for me, no matter what I do. Ughhhhh =/ =] I do cook dinner for my family though and I feel alot better when I feel incontrol like Im doing smething good, its just abit hard to seethat way sometimes |
