| Its different for everyone. My first time around, I thought I was stalled by artificial sweeteners but I think it was just the dreaded post-induction stall. This time around I've used them in moderation. My weight loss has been slower this time all around but adding back the artificial sweeteners hasn't seemed to slow me. Of course I have been using them in moderation compared to the last time. Before I was drinking a couple glasses of diet rite a day. Now I'm just having a little dribble in my tea and in a homemade sports drink. It can't hurt to stop using it for awhile and see what happens. If your weight loss speeds up, keep it out. If it doesn't, you could add it back in. It's pretty much a good situation no matter what happens. |

| I know, for me, I stopped using them in my tea in the morning (in fact i gave up my hot tea w/cream and da vinci syrups all together) and I've been dropping weight much better...but for me, personally, I know that I'm extremely metabolically resistant (insulin resistant) that any artificial sweetener is bad for me. I'm pretty much "sweet free" now - not even splenda. But, like Peej said, It's different for everyone. The only thing you could do is "experiment" on yourself...keep track of EXACTLY how much you use during the week and how much weight you lose - then give it up for a week and see if there's any difference in weight loss. good luck!

| Thanks for the suggestions! I'm going to only have it once a week, twice at the most, and see what happens.

| Hi Claire! I would say use it for a week...see what it does and then don't use it for a week and see what that does!! |
