Don't worry. Just keep doing things right and those two lbs shall disappear. Happy belated birthday to your son!

| i wouldnt worry about it. I've been doing a completely clean induction for over 3 weeks. first week, lost 10. second week, started going back up. third week, and up 4lbs so i've only lost 6. No cheats, working out, drinking water. Then yesterday I had a diet rite (which sucked and made my stomach hurt) and today i'm finally back to -7. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense, its just when your body finally decides to let go. Last time I lost a lot faster too. I was 19, now i'm almost 24, still young, but much slower. But last time I wasn't working out either.

One thing I neglected to mention...I am fitting into pants that I bought 2 weeks ago that I couldn't even zip up. I wore them out last night! So I know I lost inches. You're right about the weight training...I forgot that muscles retain water. I'm drinking 96oz a day minimum, so that will help. Thanks for everything!

Thanks for the pep talk! I needed it. Sometimes you know what to do and that it will be all right but you need others to reinforce it so you believe it

| Hi Laurie, Don't you worry about the 2lbs....it will go away before you know it! Just last week I had a 5lb gain overnight, I was stunned ....I was doing everything correct, no cheats, working out, drinking lots of water....very odd. However, the very next day when I jumped on the scales it was gone including an additional pound loss. These things happen from time to time, I agree with everything everyone above has said. Just you hang in there, I know this can be frustrating but as they say "this too shall pass" and before you know it you'll see that 2lbs gone as well as additional weight. Hang in there, you're doing just fine! All the very best to you, Sarina -------------------- Heaviest weight - 403 lbs. (2007) April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point) Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins) 1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight. 2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day. Current weight – 217 lbs. Goal weight - 150 – 160 |

| I am hanging in there and more determined to eat clean and not have any cheats....drinking my water faithfully! Sux how the weight gain just *happens* and then goes away...just to mess with our heads

| We all gain/lose differently. I have recently discovered that I generally gain 3 and then lose 5. I always gain about 2-3 pounds after I hit a new low and then it will fluctuate a bit before hitting another new one. Its really frustrating seeing gains on the scale but once you figure out a pattern or start putting more faith in the inches lost, it is much better! |

| You know what, I remember that happening last time now. Gain a few lose lots more. Thanks for the reminder!
