| We all will have days when we are not very hungry and others when we seem to need to eat all the time ![]() On the 'not hungry days' you need to make sure you don't go more than 6 hours without eating at least a small snack containing fat/protein/carbs. On the 'hungry days' make sure you keep available enough 'legal' foods and snacks so you can eat when hungry and stay on plan. It takes some of us a while to start to recognise the difference between being hungry and eating out of habit, so try to notice how your body feels and stop once you no longer feel hungry.

| Eat when you are hungry as long as you are not confusing hunger with something else. If you feel you are hungrier than usual, drink some water, exercise, do something productive. Also keep track of when you are hungry. It could be a certain food you're eating that is triggering some cravings that make you feel like you are hungry. For me, there are some days when I feel like I have been eating all day and am famished all the time. Usually on those days when I actually look at my fitday totals, my calories are really low even though I felt like I've eaten a lot.. |
