This is a bad memory, but my daughter was able to make her hand fold up into nothing (it was tiny anyway). She could get her hands out of handcuffs, no matter how tight. When they removed her from life support and she was supposed to be brain dead, she kept getting her hands out of the restraints and removing her oxygen and feeding tube and all the electrodes. She really hated the oximeter they finally taped on her finger, but they were never able to keep her from removing it. The nurses didn't understand how she was doing it until they watched her. We finally had to have someone on each side of her to grab her hands. She was fast.

| i can turn my thumbs around backwards but thats about the extent of my small joint flexibility. I've been in a habit for many years now not to push them. It didnt hurt as a kid, but it sure hurts now. weird joint problems do run in my family. my dad had the same shoulder dislocation thingy I have, and he had to have screws put into his to keep them in place. yikes! And my uncles on the other side have a degenerative joint disease in their hips and they have to wear special shoes because one legs longer than the other now. I can still put my legs behind my head, not that I make a habit of it, but I havent attempted to dislocate my shoulders in a long time, because these days it isnt neat anymore, it just hurts lol. My brother isn't weirdly flexible at all though
