| If by "fasting" you mean that you are eating very little, (as opposed to a fat fast or something) then that is the problem. You need to eat until you are satisfied! Keep your calories up, fats up, and carbs down. If you starve your body, it won't want to let go of its energy reserves (aka fat). So give your body the fuel it needs!

I'm not sure what is the perfect diet formula, but we are doing Atkins here, as you should be able to tell from the name of the Board. If you want to do Atkins, I would suggest you read Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, 2002. There are also nice sticky threads on our Board.

| http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...tion-mode.html (What is starvation mode?) Hi Rugby, glad you found us and joined. This board only does Atkins and fasting just isn't a part of his plan, in fact if you read the above post, you will find out exactly why your not losing. Get the book and read it so you know why and how it works, it does work !! But you must do it his way. Start over, do induction, eat every 6 hours, and if you eat 2000 calories so be it as long as they are mostly fat calories. It might take a few days for your body to get back to normal after fasting, but you will start to lose again You should lose about 10% of goal the first two weeks and then a pound or so a week after that. |

| hey guys, One of my friends suggested me a to take the best diet formula which is 100% natural pills. She said that, it is made up of organic ingredients. So, it doesn't have any side effect. Should I start it or not? They provide me 14 days trial package to try. Can I try?

| You can try whatever you want. However, I would like to remind you that on this bulletin board we go by Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution, 2002, so it should be clear for everyone that our members are following the Atkins Diet. Weight loss pills are not part of the Atkins plan.
