Default Need stairstepper challenge ideas...

My Stairmaster is my machine of choice right now and for fun, I've devised a chart to track the number of floors climbed and the total distance climbed up. I've assumed 10 feet per floor. (Yes, I know a "step" on a Stairmaster isn't the equivalent of a real step, due to the decreased resistance...but, alas, I press on.)

My first challenge is to "climb" the Seven Summits, ending with Mt. Everest. By way of example, 45 mins on the machine today yielded 153 floors, or 1530 feet. So, you can see, in a couple of months, I will likely go through all Seven Summits.

I was thinking perhaps the world's tallest buildings next, but even the tallest building is less than 153 floors, so knocking off the world's tallest building in 35 minutes wouldn't be very impressive.

So, I think I'm stuck with mountains. I'm thinking of knocking the Seven Summits off first, then perhaps finding the highest point in all 50 states and charting my progress on a map. Some states (like mine, on the ocean), will be easy. A couple other quick ideas are to do the US's highest seven or ten summits or a "World Landmark" tour, such as the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, etc.

Any other creative ideas (or suggested modifications to mine)?

Thanks for any thoughts!

Imagine that you're doing great, losing weight, feeling better than ever, thrilled with yourself, hearing compliments from friends and acquaintances---and then it happens! Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!"

I did see that, but didn't think using Stairstepper steps 'counts' for the resistance reason I note above.

As it turns out, looks like I don't need any ideas....I just compiled the state spreadsheet and I will have to do 191 sessions like I did today to scale all the peaks in the US! So, I'm going to start with that challenge, and then do the Seven Summits after it since I've always dreamed of climbing Mount Everest, so that will be my finale. I think this will take me a good couple of years to finish, but what fun it will be!

Oh, for those wondering... (The last two columns are feet and "floors").
