| It's because too much cheese stalls some people. It is also because you should be getting the majority (over half) of your net carbs from vegetables, which are limited to 3 cups per day -- max. 1 cup from the "Other Vegetables" list and the rest from the "Salad Vegetables". It is also because cheese can cause constipation. And it is also because many people have issues controlling their cheese intake, 'cuz they like the stuff so much.

| I loooooooooove cheese. I am starting atkins and know that you should limit our cheese intake to 1 meal/day. I like to use it for eggs |

| Naaaah.... You can do better than that. 4 ounces of dry grated parmesan (especially when you also have some real bacon bits) can go a long way, I mean sprinkle it on breakfast, lunch and dinner, and you may still have some left to dip celery into!

| The Rules also states that one ounce of cheese is counted as 1 net carb.
